Kate Snodgrass Photography is based out of Eugene, Oregon and travels to the surrounding areas to provide premium professional equine photography and fine art. Using years of photography and horse experience, I specialize in capturing the beauty of your equine using natural movements and behavior. I offer services to all equestrian enthusiasts, from professional trainers to the casual horse owner.
I believe in using every moment with our horses to the fullest, and capturing photos is one of the greatest ways to honor their time here with us. Meet Kate,
I'm Kate Snodgrass, and horses have been my world since I was eight years old. Between gentling a mustang, competing English and Western, and now sharing my life with my own horse, Reggie, I bring a rider's understanding to every session. I know how to read a horse, when to wait, and when the moment is right to press the shutter.
Photography found me in 2018, starting with a duck photo my aunt encouraged me to enter at the state fair. From there, a high school photography class turned into countless hours at the barn practicing on my own horse, and eventually into a full career built on both craft and continued education, including a certification through eCornell and hands-on training around the country.
What I love most is what happens after the shoot. The message that says a client got more than they hoped for, or the portrait that ends up framed on a living room wall. Every session is a step in that journey, and I'd love to help capture yours.
